Proximel Basic Adhesive Foam Dressings with Boarders
Proximel Basic bordered adhesive foam dressings absorb exudate and provide optimal moisture environment to the wound site through a three-layer system: An absorbent polyurethane foam, a polyacrylate adhesive contact layer, and a protective backing made of smooth and comfortable material. The dressings feature a polyacrylate adhesive border, so no additional materials are required to secure the dressings. These dressings are designed to absorb exudate, allowing them to create and maintain moist wound environments that stimulate healing.

- Foam layer provides additional comfort while supporting fast absorption and minimizing maceration risk
- Adhesive layer's nonwoven material prevents curling and helps with easy application
- Semi-permeable protective backing is waterproof and a barrier to bacteria while promoting high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR)
- Can be worn for up to seven days
- Indications: Pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, donor sites, skin tears, first- and second-degree burns, necrotic wounds (when used in combination with a wound gel)
