Gelmix is the first and only USDA certified organic thickener for breast milk and formula, specifically formulated for pediatric use in America. Thickening liquids is sometimes recommended for infants with spit-up or vomiting, often present in conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease. Thickening is also often recommended for children and adults with swallowing difficulties, present in conditions such as dysphagia.
