The Duette dual balloon, 100% silicone urinary catheter, is designed to maintain bladder mucosa integrity with its patented bladder protection balloon. Drainage eyes are located in between the retention and bladder protection balloon, designed for eliminating mucosa aspiration into the exposed drainage eyes and facilitating uninterrupted drainage.

Life changer for me !!!!

I am on blood thinners for my heart and "regular" catheters were very uncomfortable and every activity I tried caused the catheter tip to dig into my bladder and caused a lot of pain and bleeding. This catheter is an absolute godsend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The balloon on the tip prevents the catheter from irritating your bladder and causing bleeding. I have been using these for the past 6 months combined with the Bard's "FLIP-FLOW" valve and it has drastically improved my quality of life !!!!! Because they are silicone, you only need to have then changed once every 6 weeks. I know it seems pricey to spend $12.50 for a catheter but they are worth every penny !!!!! Believe me !!!! Plus, you don't have to change them as often so combine that with not having a UTI and you can see these are life changers !!! If you are a Subprapubic catheter patient, this is the best money you will ever spend !!!! Call the Poiesis Duette Cather folks and get a free sample and you will be sold for life.
