NeoMed Extension Set has an orange hub and an orange-striped tubing that represents "Enteral Only", improving patient safety by eliminating unintended clinical line connections. Non-threaded hub and tethered plug allow for easy cleaning as all surfaces are easily accessible.
- 1.8mL approximate priming volume.
- Unique tethered plug closure on the female inlet connector provides better protection from ambient air.
- New design of the male adapter improves the strength of connection to enteral only feeding tubes mitigating "overstretching" of the feeding tube hubs.
- USP Class VI PVC tubing is not made with DEHP or BPA.
