Cica care silicone sheets are manufactured by Smith and Nephew. They are used to reduce keloid and hypertrophic scars. These applications are self adhesive gel sheets that can be cut to fit any scar. They will work on fresh or older scars.

Product detail: A Cica care gel sheet is used for reducing keloid and hypertrophic scars. They are especially effective in reducing the redness and discoloration of scars. The entire function of the Cica Care gel sheet is to trap moisture into the scarred area, and allow the scar to obtain the same coloring as the person’s skin, to pale and blend in with the surrounding area. Cica Care scar treatment can be used on newer scars and on scars that are decades old.
